At First Minister’s Questions (FMQs) today, The Leader of the Welsh Conservatives challenged the First Minister to change course from a plan that “isn’t working”, citing the employer National Insurance increase, economy-slowing 20mph speed limits, and legislating for “more Welsh taxes on motorists and tourists.”
Darren Millar MS urged the First Minister to back Welsh Conservative plans to “cut taxes, cut waste, boost growth and get Wales working”.
Commenting, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Darren Millar MS said:
“It’s abundantly clear that the Welsh Labour Government hasn't got a clue how to run the Welsh economy.
“Wales faces a jobs crisis, with the highest unemployment rate in the UK, now at a 10-year high and up by 50% since Labour took office last year.
“Only the Welsh Conservatives have a credible plan to fix Wales, cut taxes, cut waste, boost growth and get Wales working.”
