At First Minister’s Questions (FMQs) today, the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Darren Millar MS, challenged the First Minister over the budget.
Darren reiterated Welsh Conservative calls for tax cuts paid for by cuts to wasteful projects such as overseas embassies, ‘gender neutral’ tree-planting in Africa and by reversing the “huge increase in spending on the bloated Welsh Civil Service”.
Commenting, he said:
“The Welsh Labour Government’s budget, backed again by Plaid, will mean higher taxes to pay for more wasteful projects.
“A real change is needed and the Welsh Conservatives can deliver that with our credible plan to fix Wales.”
