Local Community Groups encouraged to take up funding offer

Clwyd MS Darren Millar is keen to ensure that community groups in his constituency are aware of a funding opportunity from the Codi Trust.

Codi Trust is committed to raising funds and allocating grants to individuals, community groups and projects to improve the quality of life and create opportunities for people and communities in the areas where Codi Group works.

It provides small grants (typically up to £1,000) to support community-based projects, Charities and local community groups across Wales.

Encouraging local community groups to apply, Darren said:

"Community groups play an essential role in our local communities, supporting people of all ages.

"I know there are many passionate people doing fantastic work in the areas that I represent and this funding would go a long way to helping them develop.

"What Codi Trust is offering is a valuable opportunity for community groups and I would strongly encourage them to explore this funding offer."
