Clwyd West MS Darren Millar was delighted to welcome a group of primary school pupils from his constituency to the Senedd last week.
The group from Ysgol Betws yn Rhos were visiting the Welsh Parliament in Cardiff Bay to learn more about Welsh Politics and were pleased to meet up with their local Senedd Member to learn more about his role as an MS and his responsibilities as Leader of the Welsh Conservatives.
Speaking after their visit, Darren said:
“It’s always a pleasure to meet school groups from my constituency down in Cardiff Bay, so I was very pleased to welcome the Year Six pupils and staff from Ysgol Betws yn Rhos.
“They were a great bunch who were really engaged and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their visit. It is always so encouraging to see young people showing such a keen interest in Welsh politics.
“These visits really are beneficial, bringing politics to life and sparking an interest in politics at a young age.
“I hope the children had a safe journey home and have fully recovered from their busy few days in Cardiff.
“They were great young ambassadors for North Wales and the school.”
