Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has welcomed news that a project in his constituency is among the latest in Wales set to benefit from National Lottery funding.
CAIS Limited is one of 90 groups in Wales to benefit from £371,197 of Big Lottery Fund Awards for All funding.
Darren said:
“I am delighted that CAIS are to benefit from this latest round of funding.
“They do fantastic work and this additional funding will enable them to extend their support services to include working with the families of veterans in four regions of Wales. The grant, of £3,000, will fund 12 tablet computers.”
The Big Lottery Fund supports the aspirations of people who want to make life better for their communities across the UK. It is responsible for giving out 40% of the money raised by the National Lottery and invest over £650 million a year in projects big and small in health, education, environment and charitable purposes.

“Money is helping to establish groups, societies and clubs, promoting learning, increasing volunteering opportunities and helping to build stronger communities.”
