Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has welcomed news that projects in his constituency are among the latest in Wales to benefit from National Lottery funding.
Clwb Cernyw, Llangernyw, and Cymdeithas Cymuned Ac Ieuenctid Bro Aled , Llansannan, are among 60 projects across Wales receiving a share of £252,656 from the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All small grants programme.
Cymdeithas Cymuned Ac Ieuenctid Bro Aled will receive £4,991 to upgrade the IT hardware in their hall in order to provide improved facilities for the numerous local groups that use the space, whilst Clwb Cernyw After School Club will receive £4,233 to provide the children who attend with an extended offering of play equipment, allowing them to develop new skills and improve their health and fitness.

“I am delighted that yet again projects in my constituency are set to benefit from this latest round of funding. Cymdeithas Cymuned Ac Ieuenctid Bro Aled and Clwb Cernyw both do fantastic work and this additional funding will enable them to improve the services they offer.
“The grant for Cymdeithas Cymuned Ac Ieuenctid Bro Aled will fund a laptop, two display screens, projector, HDMI and ethernet cables, electrical works, lockable cabinets and scaffolding, while Clwb Cernyw will use their grant to fund outdoor and indoor games, workshop costs, crafts and activity costs, IT equipment, and electronics.”
