Clwyd West AM Darren Millar came under the spotlight in the Senedd this week when he was grilled by a group of Ruthin pupils.
The youngsters from Rhos Street School met up with Darren during their visit to the Assembly on Tuesday.
Darren joined them for a question and answer session in the Senedd gallery and for discussion on a number of topics including recycling, bin collections and carrier bag charges.
The young people even met the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies AM.
Darren said:
“It was a pleasure to welcome these young people from my constituency to the Assembly this week. They seemed to really enjoy their time here and showed a keen interest in Welsh politics and issues affecting their local area.
“They really put in the hot seat in the gallery and I was very impressed by the high standard of questions they fired at me.
“The pupils also met with Welsh Conservative Leader Andrew RT Davies AM and practiced making politicians handshakes. They were a great bunch and I really enjoyed my time with them.”
