Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has praised a Ruthin business which is going from strength to strength following a visit there last week.
Darren called at Rubbertech on Friday with Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies AM, to learn more about the success of the thriving business which is developing new products regularly and is seeing massive growth in exports.
They were joined on the visit by Mayor of Ruthin, Cllr Anne Roberts, and Denbighshire County Councillors Martyn Holland and Huw Williams.
Darren said:
“The Rubbertech Group specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of an extensive range of recycled rubber products for various sectors in the construction, transport, sports and leisure and agricultural markets.
“Significant and continued expansion at the Group was marked by the opening of a new office in November. The business has ambitious growth plans and forecasts an increase in turnover from £2.2m to £9m within the next few years with staff numbers set to double.
“It’s always good news to hear of local companies like Rubbertech expanding and creating new jobs. From a father and son establishment, this business has gone from strength to strength with future forecasts looking extremely prosperous. I was impressed by the team on my visit and congratulate them all on their success.”
Andrew RT Davies said:
“We have some fantastic businesses here in Wales and Rubbertech is a shining example of one of them. It is vital that we ensure such businesses receive the support they need to continue to grow and succeed in the future.”
