Both Conwy County Borough Council and Denbighshire County Council are consulting on cuts to library services which will have a significant impact on staff and local communities.

I have been raising concerns regarding access to NHS dentists in the Welsh Parliament in for many months, due to the withdrawal of NHS dentistry from a number of practices in Conwy and Denbighshire and the impact this is having on many thousands of patients across the region. 

Conwy County Borough Council has taken the decision to close the Youth and Community Centre in Abergele. This decision has been made without consultation with the public or those who use the building, which is part of our local heritage. 

Too many patients are being let down by the West End Medical Centre in Colwyn Bay.

Darren was first elected to the National Assembly for Wales in May 2007 and was returned to the Senedd in 2011 and 2016 with increased majorities at each election.

Having been brought up in Towyn, Darren now lives in Kinmel Bay with his wife Rebekah and their two children, Mary and Toby. He is enjoys reading and history.
